How to Use Back-Up Care at Camp
Reserve your care
Reserve your back-up care days through your usual Bright Horizons channel or get started on the Bright Horizons website above.
Select Science Factory Camp
When reserving your needed dates of care, request or search for your local Science Factory Camp location.
Join Us at Camp
Once your reservation is confirmed, your child can attend camp on the approved back-up care dates. At booking you'll also receive an email to access your Science Factory Camp account, which you'll use to quickly check in and out of camp each day.

Families can purchase supplemental camp days directly through Science Factory at any time. Just log into your existing Science Factory account, or create one.
Families can use their back-up care benefit for any camp day we’re open. Starting Jan. 1, 2026, many clients will be able to reserve their camp days for the entire summer, rather than waiting until the normal booking window opens of 60 days before care is needed. Just log into My Bright Horizons account and select Science Factory Camp as your care provider. For questions about your specific booking policies or benefits, please reach out to Bright Horizons at 877-242-2737.
We try and make inevitable changes as easy as possible. If you booked through Bright Horizons, please follow their cancellation policies to cancel through them. Our system will automatically update once the reservation is cancelled, so there's no extra steps needed to notify us! For days purchased though us, you can cancel and request a full refund directly from your Science Factory account at any time. If you forget to cancel, we'll refund you the unused day at the end of the season automatically. No penalties. No fees. No fine print.
